Who can apply
ECRO actively supports young researchers. A prerequisite is to be ECRO member. Therefore, check that you have paid your yearly membership (January-December) before sending your grant application; otherwise your application will not be considered. Please note that one student/lab will be granted for each fellowship type. Preference will be given to students who are the presenting author of an abstract when applying for meeting attendance. No applicant will be granted twice for the same type of fellowship.
Bilateral arrangements with AChemS: two grants per year, 1000 € each, for attending the AChemS meeting.
ECRO 2017: 14 available grants, 500 € each for travel outside the member country or 300 € within the member country.
Attendance at meetings and schools/courses in the field of olfaction and taste in Europe: available grants, 500 € each for travel outside the member country or 300 € within the member country, are announced on the web site annually. The number of grants available depends on the yearly financial status of ECRO.
Study visit to another laboratory: a limited number of grants, 500 € each, is available depending on the current financial status of ECRO.
For ECRO 2017: June 30th, 2017. For other events: March 31st, June 30th, September 30th, December 31st. At least 6 weeks before the event.

Supporting letter from the Supervisor or Department Head
Abstract to be presented at the meeting or an outline of the purpose of the visit to a laboratory
Letter of acceptance from the Organiser when attending an event (meeting, school, course) where the number of admitted participants are limited.
The ECRO payment summary for your ECRO membership
Use preferably WORD files. File names must start with the family name of the applicant.
Send your application by e.mail using the option for receiving an automatic receipt confirmation. Address it to the General Secretary of ECRO: trotier.didierATwanadoo.fr (replace AT by @).
